Our Impact: Solidarity and Hope for the Most Deprived

Maghreb Secours is an association recognized for its commitment to people in poverty, suffering from serious illnesses, or waiting for prostheses. Every day, we receive requests for help, such as that of a young mother whose child with a heart condition was saved thanks to our support. Among these stories, there is also that of little Mohamed, born with a growth on the brain, spinal problems, an unstable pelvis and deformed feet. His mother, abandoned by her husband because of the child's health, found refuge and hope through our help. In all, our association has been able to give hope to more than a thousand people, and we remain committed to our mission to save, support and empathize with the most vulnerable people. By working daily to alleviate suffering, Maghreb Secours actively contributes to social solidarity and humanitarian aid in Morocco. The villages that need us! Our work also extends to the isolated villages of the High Atlas, where the wonderful summer landscapes give way, in winter, to extreme living conditions and difficult to navigate roads. In these magnificent but remote douars, we crisscross rural areas to bring donations and provide relief to residents facing bad weather. For a decade, the Maghreb Secours Association has been alongside rural communities in the Cherifian Kingdom, providing ongoing support to improve the living conditions of the most remote populations. Maghreb Secours: Digging Wells for a Sustainable Future in the Douars In remote douars where water is in dire need, Maghreb Secours is actively working to dig authorized wells, providing a vital solution to local populations. These wells not only improve access to drinking water, but also support rural communities, who are often forced to migrate to large cities due to lack of resources, abandoning their pastures and farmland. By helping to keep these populations on their land, we are helping to reduce poverty and support a sustainable rural economy.
